Impact defense
Paintprotection film.

This is the only product we install that physically prevents rock chips. A ceramic coating is measured in microns; paint protection film is measured in mils, and one mil is roughly twenty-five microns. That difference is why film absorbs impact energy and a coating simply cannot. Modern premium film also self-heals: the topcoat's polymers have shape memory, so heat from the sun closes fine swirls and light surface scratches on its own. It is the right answer for freeway commuters, dark or delicate paint, and any vehicle you intend to keep.

How it works
Prep the paint
The paint is decontaminated and polished first, because film locks in whatever is underneath it just like a coating does.
Cut and install
Patterns are computer-cut to your vehicle and installed with wrapped edges wherever the panel allows, so there is no visible film line.
Coat and cure
We recommend a coating over the film, since the film's topcoat is more stain-prone than clear coat. Then it cures before it sees weather.
Common questions
Asked & answered.
Modern films are UV-stable and typically carry ten-year warranties against yellowing, cracking, and delamination. The older films that discolored badly used different chemistry.
